Dec ’07 Approved the rules on trade promotion subsidy for TABA member companies during the first session of the 4th TABA Board Meeting.
Nov ’07 Co-organized the 2007 Taiwan Auto Parts and Accessories Mission to South Africa with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
Signed an MOU with the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) as well as with the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) during the 2007 Taiwan Trade Mission to North and East Africa.
Oct ’07 Organized a monthly event for the first time and invited Chain Rail Group Corp. Chairman Wu as the keynote speaker during a forum on how to succeed in the Nigerian market.
Jul ’07 Obtained official certificates issued by the Taipei District Court recognizing TABA as a legal entity.
May ’07 Co-organized the 2007 Taiwan Trade Mission to Africa with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Approved revisions of articles 25 and 27 of the TABA Charter and set quorum for annual general meetings.
Jan ’07 TABA officially established under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, with office located on 6th fl (6C-09) of the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1.
Passed rules and regulations, and adopted 35 provisions under the Articles of Association.
Elected Chou Liao-de, general manager of QQQ Industrial Corp., as the 1st Chairman of TABA.
Published and released first issue of the TABA Business Weekly with subsequent issues released every Thursday, featuring related information and business opportunity in the African markets.
