Kidnapping is a crime all over the world, and it is even a felony in many countries.
But here in Africa it is legal, and it happens often.
Still in South Sudan, a Latuka man wanted to marry a certain girl, so he kidnapped her from the girl’s father’s house and didn’t let her go.
Then the suitor will be accompanied by his elder male relatives and friends to meet the girl's father and explain that he wants to marry her daughter.
If Dad agrees to this marriage, he will beat the future son-in-law to death and express his agreement.
The old father has the right to disagree. The daughter will be sent back unscathed. 😁
